Rain and Rivers is the jewelry of Magdalena Hart, a British-Uruguayan contemporary artist based in Barcelona.
The practice
Hart's work explores the intersection of nature and technology. Glass entered her practice through interactive installations with plants, years before it became jewelry. She founded Rain and Rivers in 2023 to bring that research to the body: wearable sculpture shaped by the organic forms of water and stone.
The material
Every piece is hand-sculpted at the flame from borosilicate glass, a strong, heat-resistant and exceptionally clear glass. Formed by hand at the flame, no two are identical.

Alongside the jewelry, Hart makes unique works in glass, including the series The Softest Hard. Viewings by appointment.
